Artistic Eurythmy

The art of Eurythmy is the foundation for all other aspects of the practice of Eurythmy and is a performance art.  This art of movement makes use of the whole human being as a medium of expression, in moving the gestures for the sounds of speech and the tones and intervals in music.  Each sound that we speak has a gesture that comes inherently out of the quality of that sound.  Several other elements are brought together with these gestures as they are moved on forms choreographed in space, created for each particular piece.   Silk dresses and veils are worn when Eurythmy is performed with colors corresponding to the aspects of the piece and the sounds and tones.  Artistic eurythmy stage groups tour with performances in various cities and countries,
